Hannah Johnson, RCC
In-person & virtual counselling services, Victoria, BC

Welcome! I’m Hannah (she/her),
I’m a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) living and working on the traditional territory of the Lekwungen-speaking peoples of the Songhees Nation and Xʷsepsəm Nation, and W̱SÁNEĆ peoples, Victoria BC. I offer individual counselling and psychotherapy services to adults and youth (16+) who are seeking connection and support on their journeys of self-discovery and finding their way back into a feeling of wholeness. I am deeply interested in the complexities of the human experience and the question that Mary Oliver poses – “what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?” While engaging with the existential questions that life proposes is part of my practice, I also aim to balance insight with practical actions that contribute to one’s wellbeing. My practice is relational, collaborative, and depth-orientated. At its core, my practice is grounded in psychodynamic therapy, somatic attachment psychotherapy, internal family systems therapy, and mindfulness. It would be an honour to be by your side as you query into the depths of your psyche and learn new ways of sustaining your wellbeing.

Areas of Focus
Pentimento Psychotherapy acknowledges that it is a privilege to provide services within the traditional lands of the Lekwungen speaking peoples of the Songhees and Esquimalt Nations, and the SENĆOTEN speaking peoples of the W̱SÁNEĆ Nations. I am originally from Treaty 8 Territory and have Metis-Cree and settler backgrounds. In my practice I aim to respect the diversity of Indigenous perspectives and honour the Truth and Reconciliation Commission calls to action regarding mental and spiritual well being.
